Beware of this number, it’s definitely a scam! They ring you up pretending to be from HMRC, saying you’ve got problems with tax fraud and trying to scare you into paying them money. They just want to con you out of cash. I got a call like this myself, but I was lucky since I’d heard about these scams before and wasn’t fooled.

Got a call from 0161 521 3482 around 16:22, thought it might be HMRC, but turns out it was a scam. I went and called them back, not the smartest move on my part.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC threatening legal action if I didn’t ring them back. Proper harassment, just trying to scare you. Best thing is to block the number, delete any messages they leave and don’t respond at all.

They keep ringing me over and over, using loads of different numbers and even some with unknown caller IDs. I can't make out a word they're saying because they’re speaking some language I don’t understand at all.
