Got a call from Manchester number 0161512 10633, and it felt dodgy right away. They then passed me onto 0203 965 8103. The caller had a European accent, maybe American too, and kept threatening me, saying if I didn’t chat with an officer called Denis ###* there’d be big trouble. Told them it definitely wasn’t HMRC and that it’s just a scam trying to snatch bank info. Honestly, told them to bugger off.

I got this scam call from hmre, it was a hilarious pre-recorded robot threatening me with legal action if I didn't ring a certain number straight away. Total rubbish!

Had a missed call earlier and checked the voicemail. It was some robot voice saying I needed to call back or else get a lawyer and deal with big trouble. So, I called them back with my number blocked, but as soon as they picked up, all I heard was silence and the call timer running. I ended the call after a few seconds. Turns out my credit dropped by £2. If I’d stayed on longer, I’m guessing it would've charged me more.

there’s been a bunch of calls showing up as unknown on my phone. whenever I answer, it’s dead silent and then they hang up after a while. one time I did catch some breathing at the start, and then the person said hello before cutting off. it’s pretty strange because I’ve been getting loads of calls like this from different numbers.
