Honestly, these people are really dodgy and quite rude. I reckon they're just trying to check if your personal info is legit so they can use it for some kind of scam. If you get called by them, don't share anything and watch your bank stuff closely for anything dodgy going on. Wouldn't trust them for a second.

Got a call today from a woman speaking with an Indian accent claiming she was from O2. Thing is, I haven't been with O2 for nearly ten years. Felt a bit dodgy, so I didn't bother. Could very well be a scam.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. I have this setup where if a caller's number isn't in my contacts, their call goes straight to voicemail. That way, genuine people can leave a message but dodgy scammers usually don’t bother. So, since there was no message left, I'd bet this is just another scam call.

This number’s definitely one of those BT landlines, I’m sure of it. Bloody Telecom never bothers to crack down on these scammers as long as the bills keep coming in. They don’t even bother to keep an eye on these dodgy callers trying to dupe the unsuspecting. Best plan? If the number looks unfamiliar, don’t pick up. When they hang up, just block them straight away. Honestly, these kinds should be sent packing - maybe somewhere remote, like the far side of the moon or something.

Ah, here we are again with that shady character, all dressed in black and bustling about, attempting to pry into unsavoury bits and bobs. It reeks of trickery and chicanery, doesn’t it? I do say, a fitting punishment might just be to have their bits chopped off!

The call began with her claiming she wasn’t trying to sell anything, just wanted me to answer three quick questions. Suddenly, she began rattling off my address and postcode. Before I could even get a word in or hang up, the call dropped on its own.

Got a call from “Pakistani Patel” trying her usual broadband scam. I handed the phone over to my hubby since I couldn’t catch what she was saying. They ended up having a bit of a fiery chat for a good half-minute, swearing and all. My husband warned her that if she rings again, she’d get a sharp slap and a firm kick where it hurts. Then he cheekily wished her a jolly good Jubilee!
