Got a call but didn’t pick up. Called back and an automated lady with an American accent said something about Smart Compare. I just ended the call right away.

They said they were from my mobile provider, offering a 30% cut on my phone bills for next year. Sounds quite good, right? I asked if they could give me the email linked to my account - they couldn’t, and said I needed to “confirm my details” by having them send a code via text, which I then had to tell them. This is a classic trick to bypass SMS 2FA for resetting passwords - could be for Google, your email, or even your mobile network account. Don’t let them send you any code, and whatever you do, don’t share it with them if they do.
