I reckon it’s definitely suspicious... The woman was asking some rather odd questions. She inquired about what type of washing machine we own, whether we have a mortgage, what broadband service we use, and to top it all off, she referred to me as "mum"! Quite bizarre, if you ask me.

I received a rather peculiar call from someone inquiring about specific belongings in my house. The way they spoke was nearly incomprehensible, almost as if English wasn’t their primary tongue. To make matters worse, they were also probing for banking information. Honestly, it was so bizarre that I would recommend not engaging at all-just block the number and be done with it!

They rang me up and enquired if I was "my name" before abruptly ending the call.

They just called me and used my name. The speaker had a heavy accent, making it rather difficult to make out what they were saying. I told them I wasn't interested and hung up, but then they started cursing quite a bit. Absolutely sounds like a scam! Honestly, I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone, but it’s frustrating dealing with this sort of nonsense!

I received a rather peculiar call from a chap with a horrid line. He bombarded me with inquiries: whether I was the homeowner, who provided my internet, the brand and age of my washing machine, if I fancied donating to a charity, whether I had life insurance, who it was with and the amount, and then he asked for the date today. I simply responded that it was a Thursday in May, and he kept repeating, “Hello... can you hear me, madam?” before abruptly disconnecting. Quite the odd encounter, if you ask me!
