Even though I’ve blocked this number and others similar to it, they still manage to ring me constantly. I haven’t got anyone I know from Manchester, so it’s pretty clear this is just some dodgy call. After reading what others have said, it definitely seems like a scam. I’ve let my phone provider know, reported it to the cops, and emailed Ofcom hoping they’ll put a stop to these scam calls for good. Honestly, these scammers should be caught and properly dealt with.

I received a phone call from an individual who assured me right off the bat that he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. He claimed to have a mere five inquiries regarding my washing machine. I keep getting calls from this number and similar ones even after blocking them. I don’t know anyone from Manchester, so it’s pretty clear these are scam calls. After seeing what others have said here, it’s obvious they’re up to no good. I’ve reported it both to the police and my mobile provider, and I’ve also emailed Ofcom to help put an end to these dodgy calls. They really need to catch and prosecute the people behind this.
