Got a call from someone trying to scam me, asking to verify my info but they had my name and address totally wrong. I just ended the call when I asked where they got my phone number from.

Wouldn’t tell me where they were calling from. They just kept pushing me to say my name. When I asked their location, they replied “planet earth,” but I reckon it was a dodgy scam all along.

Got a call from someone calling himself “Lucas” from the UK. He started asking me how old I am, what brand my washing machine is, if I drive, got a dog and what kind, whether I’m a homeowner, and eventually who supplies my internet. Once I mentioned it was a Sky contract, he just said goodbye. Didn’t give him any honest details and purposely spelled my surname wrong just in case they ring back.

I’m on the Telephone Preference Service but still got 3 calls in a row from this number at 10.05 this morning. I’m quite suspicious of any 0161 number so didn’t pick up. Got a call from them like a day or two ago as well, which I also ignored. Have blocked the number now. Proper annoying!

Total scam, they just changed the last 3 digits. It’s the same Cap Quest scam trying to get in. I’ve blocked the number already, no way they’re getting through to Meta using that line.

01615202915 kept ringing but I couldn’t pick up, he was talking like he was on some FB live or something. Third time he called, said his name was either Tobias or Alan, sounded super smug and like a proper scammer. Ended up blocking the number myself.

Picked up this call but couldn't make out what the person was trying to say at all. Asked them to spell it out but they just hung up on me. After reading other comments, looks like it’s just a pointless call anyway.

Got another call from the same lot, they wanted me to say yes or no to some questions. I told them straight up it was a scam and to stop bothering me. I've blocked their number now. 01615202916 rang me and a man with a strong accent called from some call centre, even used my old last name - Ive been married for 5 yrs! When I asked who he was, he just ended the call. Number's now blocked.

There was lots of noise like a busy call centre when they called. The caller said they were from UK Today and wanted to ask 4 questions. The questions were about watching TV and if I owned or rented my home. I ended the call and told them to take my number off their database.
