I received a call purporting to be from a charity linked to the government, supposedly aimed at assisting with minor debt issues. They claimed to have received my details and were keen to find out what kind of debt I was dealing with and the total amount. When I questioned why this was any of their concern, they abruptly ended the call. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

The site clearly stated that there would be no follow-up calls since it's a complimentary service that wouldn't impact my credit score. Yet, merely ten seconds after I put down the phone, I received a call from an incredibly rude gentleman of Middle Eastern descent inquiring about my debts. I explained it was for professional reasons and promptly ended the call. It's quite concerning as we suspect these might be skimming sites. Best to steer clear and add them to your blocked list!
