Got a call from some TPS centre, sounded like an Asian person but with loads of background noise. Just ended the call. Seems like these companies have fancy tech to trace calls, earn loads while doing almost nothing. Total scam really.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from EE, trying to sell me an upgrade with a new phone and contract. Definitely a scammer, not legit EE at all. I’ve alerted EE about it and they’ve recorded the number now.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, sounded middle eastern. The line was awful and he was trying to push some "amazing" deal on the newest Apple phone. Thing is, my number's on their do not call list, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. When I told him I don’t even use Apple stuff, he got proper rude and started swearing. Total scam.

Not sure what it was, but I reckon it might’ve been a scam. When I phoned back, an automated message came on that said something about “thanks for calling Vet Communications” or words to that effect.

This morning I got a work phone with a fresh number, first call was my new manager, very normal. Then, I got a call from this Manchester number. The bloke on the line called himself Andrew, sounded really dodgy, definitely foreign accent. Said he was ringing from Carphone Warehouse with a brilliant offer but wanted to run a credit check on me first. Didn't trust it for a second, so I just hung up and blocked the number straight away!

Got a call earlier that was just dead silence, with some kind of weird clicking noise, then they just cut off. Before that, I got thrown into a WhatsApp group where loads of people were apparently chatting about investing in crypto or something. I told WhatsApp about it, so I’m not sure about that number now. Makes me think they might be connected somehow?

got a call on my mobile from someone saying they're from a phone company. when i asked how they had my details, they said it was from the company database. then i asked where that came from, and they just ended the call. i looked up the number online but couldn't find anything, so i'm pretty sure it's a scam.

Tried ringing back and ended up on a voicemail for det communication, but no chance to chat with anyone. Got a call on my landline from someone claiming there was a problem with my router. They told me to press the Windows key and ‘r’ on my laptop to check it. I googled it first and found out it’s a common scam. I ended the call straight away. Not long after, I got two more calls from different numbers but didn’t pick up, thinking it might be the same lot since I don’t usually get calls like that.
