I received a call from someone named Alexa claiming to be from O2. It's a bit odd because I've got an account with O2, but it’s not linked to that particular number. When I inquired about who she was trying to get in touch with, she merely reiterated her name and then abruptly ended the call after I pressed her for clarification. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

Got a call yesterday from a London number, and then today another one popped up but from Manchester. The guy claimed he was based in Bolton. I mentioned I was nearby and offered to come get the phone but apparently, that’s a no-go. He’d already sent over an email with a really professional sounding offer, using that London number to call back. Just to be safe, I rang the company myself, and they confirmed it was a total scam.
