I tend to ignore calls from unknown numbers, as they’re usually just salespeople or some dodgy scammers trying their luck. Afterwards, I usually have a nosy on this site and a few others to see what I can find out about the number. More often than not, I end up blocking them right away!

Looks like these calls are coming from some call centre in Manchester. I've noticed several other numbers in the same series getting reported here too, mostly linked to surveys. Not sure who's running it as they leave no voicemail or message. I normally ignore unknown numbers, so I tried searching this one online but found nothing useful. Has anyone else actually picked up when they ring?

It sounded like a call centre, probably from the States or somewhere over there with that American accent.

I’m at a bit of a loss over this one; I received a missed call from an unknown number. When I tried to return the call, I was greeted by an American-accented voice that chirped about how my call was significant and to kindly wait for an agent to assist me. Sounds like yet another pesky spam call, if you ask me!
