A man with a really thick Indian accent rang me, and oddly enough, he called me Mr with my first name, but he didn’t seem to know my last name or where I lived exactly. He did somehow know my postcode though and was asking for the rest of my address. He claimed my PPI claim went through and said they’d be putting £2,752 straight into my bank. I told him if it was true, to post me the official documents because I’m not giving out my bank info on the phone. Definitely a scam.

Got a text claiming it's from O2 saying I've missed a call, but I never got one. Then it tells me to press some numbers to stop the messages. Been getting these annoying texts on and off for like a year now.

In the space of a day, we got two calls from the same number. My hubby picked up the first one, and they were asking for me by my full name. When he wanted to know who it was, the line went dead. The next time they rang, there was nothing but silence before it cut off. Quite strange!

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming his name was Sam. When I told him my number's on the Mobile Preference Service, he instantly got furious and started swearing. He kept saying I could report him to whoever I wanted, that he’s not scared of the police or anyone else. Honestly, Sam is hands down the most annoying scam caller I’ve ever had to deal with.
