Got a scam call the other day from someone pretending to be Microsoft. It’s crazy since they say they’re in the UK, but I don’t get why the police aren’t shutting these fraudsters down already? Such a waste of time and effort!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Microsoft, sounded like the typical scam. She kept pushing hard, so I played along for a bit before telling her to piss off and find a real job instead of ripping people off. Then she handed me over to someone else, who tried the same line, but I gave them the same treatment. Eventually, they gave up and just hung up. Blocked the number straight away.

They kept calling me a few times but hung up just as I was about to pick up. Then on 11th October, I finally answered, and a lady started saying something about my Microsoft computer. Instantly, I got that suspicious feeling. So, I played along with dumb responses and kept asking her to explain more, just to waste her time. After a while, she caught on that I wasn’t taking her seriously. I said right away that I knew it was one of those scam calls, and eventually, she just ended the call.

Got a call from some Irish lady called Rita claiming to be from Microsoft tech support. She was telling me I had like over 400,000 virus alerts on my computer. I wasn’t sure if I should laugh or be worried, but honestly, the number just sounded ridiculous!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky, saying they needed to check my internet connection. They asked me to install some remote access app which made me suspicious. It sounded pretty legit at first, but I caught on and hung up. They kept calling me again and again, but I just didn’t pick up. Definitely a scammer trying to get in.

Just got a call around half past twelve from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. He said my computer was hacked and my private info was in danger. When I asked him which computer he kept repeating the same thing without answering. Told him I have more than one computer and asked again, but then he just fell silent. I asked him to give me a number so I could ring him later (not that I planned to), and then boom, the call ended. Honestly, don’t fall for these sorts of scams, they’re definitely dodgy.

Got a call from this number 01615201907, a woman with a really thick Asian accent who said her name was "Sarah." She mentioned something about my internet, but honestly, I’m not convinced at all!

There was this weird woman speaking with a thick accent like she was underwater or in some huge empty pool, plus I could hear a bunch of other ladies in the background with odd accents too - soundin’ like mermaids from some far-off place or something. Luckily, she hung up before I had to figure out if she was selling IRL stuff like water pumps, window fittings, driveway work, or maybe IT services. So dull and annoying!

Received a call around midday today. When I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end, and not a soul said a word. I'm baffled about who it was or their intentions behind these infuriating cold calls. I've been inundated with persistent cold callers from Manchester lately. It really does seem like the cold calling game is thriving up there!
