+44 161 520 1880 - Picked up the call and the bloke claimed he was from Vodafone, offering me an iPhone 13 Pro Max for £30 a month, plus they'd cover my old contract for the 12 Pro. I mentioned that I was actually holding out for the iPhone 14, and he promised to cancel the 13 Pro contract once the new one was out. But when I asked for written confirmation of that, he just hung up on me. Total scam, they just recite some scripted nonsense to hook you. Stay well clear.

Tried to get a quick payday loan but got turned down. Not surprised, they must’ve grabbed my details from that. Now I’m getting calls from all sorts of unknown area codes on different phones. Straight to block!

I received a rather alarming message stating that my National Insurance number was at risk of being confiscated, along with all my possessions, if I didn’t press 1 to respond immediately. Quite an unnerving experience, I must say!

Dodgy call! The number popped up as maybe spam on my phone. The person talking was really fast, like trying to throw me off. They said they were a debt investigator and kept asking me about my monthly debt payments like they were checking something, but it all felt super confusing. Definitely not happy with that!

Fraud alert - this company keeps ringing me from all sorts of different numbers. I blocked them ages ago but they just keep coming back. Clearly dodgy. Cold calls are illegal, so how on earth did they get hold of my number? Just another bunch of scammers. Best to just block and forget about them.

No one actually gave me a reason, but they kept asking for someone else’s name. I told them that wasn’t me and mentioned I’d already chatted with an adviser to clear things up. The guy then wanted to know what happened and I told him they’d said sorry. After that, he asked if I owed any money or had any loans. I replied no and then he just disconnected. When I rang the number again, I got a message about green energy and that all advisers were busy. It said if I didn’t want calls, press 1 for the do not call list. Total scam, in my opinion.

Seems like they’re just blasting out calls using some kind of auto dialler, hoping to snag anyone who owes money. I’ve had similar calls from Bains and Ernst before. They only knew my first name, so I just told them I was tied up in parliament and they quickly ended the call.

I just had a call where they addressed me by my first name and kept pushing about some unsecured debts. No clue how they even got my name. When I asked which company they were with, all I got was some vague answer like 'the debt company'. I told them to stop calling me and as I hung up, they started shouting at me. Total scam, without a doubt.

So this was about green energy or something. They told me they got some paperwork saying I owe money on my energy bill. I was like, no, that’s not true at all! Then I asked who they were and how they got my number and they just ended the call right there. I looked up the number on Google and it showed green energy! Tried calling them back but no luck getting through at all.
