Totally ridiculous! Got a cold call from this number, and there was this really rude woman, sounded Asian, asking for some girl. Total scam, steer clear. Got called 28 times over just 3 days even though I'm definitely on the do not call list. They ring at all hours, day or night. Seriously, just avoid them at all costs.

I got called by something like “uk today” and this guy with an Asian accent asking all sorts of weird questions. Not sure if they get paid just to keep you chatting or what? Dunno if they can track your location from your number either. I got a bit fed up and then he just dropped the call on me. Honestly, I’d say just block the number. They kept ringing me every single day for like three days straight from that same number.

Scam calls, I didn’t pick up but rang them straight away, and an automated message said: you’ve reached a wrong number. This is a common trick scammers use, they block your number if you don’t pick up then unblock it to try again later. Watch out folks, there’s scammers all over the place now. Stay safe!

This is the fifth time I've been called from a Manchester number, though not always the same one - I’ve blocked the other four. It’s an Indian guy always asking for some Abby McKenzie. I told him I’m not her and to take me off their list. When I asked who he was, he wanted my name, but I asked why I should give it. He said, ‘You’ll keep getting calls if you don’t tell me,’ then cut me off before I could tell him to jog on politely.

Got a call about 15 minutes ago. I only say hello when it's from numbers I don't know. Luckily, they just had my "not so clever" mobile or my landline. They just stayed quiet the whole time. This happens a lot to me, but my tip for anyone getting calls from unknown numbers is to never tell them your name. Most times it’s some kind of scam anyway.

I received a call from someone inquiring about a Kim Smith. When I requested their name and the organisation they represented, the caller promptly hung up on me. Quite odd, if you ask me!

The person on the line claimed they had no intention of marketing anything. They mentioned they only needed to ask me one question. When I queried the reason for their inquiry about my age bracket, they responded rather abruptly, asking if I was hard of hearing before abruptly ending the call. Quite discourteous, if you ask me!

I've received calls from this number on two occasions now, and they keep insisting that they're not trying to sell me anything. Apparently, they're calling from the UK! The first time, they inquired whether I read a particular newspaper, to which I firmly requested they cease contacting me; they promptly disconnected the call. The second time, I didn’t even give them a chance to finish their question. I demanded they take my number off their list, to which the person replied, "I'm afraid I can't do that," before hanging up on me. I’m definitely not buying their story!
