I got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming to be from some telephone preference service. He said he wanted to help stop scams. He asked if I was the phone owner, but I told him since he called, he should know who I am. Then he gave me my husband’s name out of nowhere. When I asked if I’d been targeted by scammers, he just said he should know that already. He got annoyed and told me to stop asking so many questions, said it made him suspicious. Yeah, no surprises there!

That was some bloke called Mr Ali saying my "card" wouldn’t accept any more direct debits or something like that! I've blocked his number and this one too now.
