1 yearGot a call claiming to be from Three with a 50% off deal on phone contracts but I had my doubts and mentioned it sounded dodgy, then they just ended the call. The number showed up as a butchers shop in Manchester, but clearly it wasn't them. Probably some call centre from India or somewhere similar.ThreeManchester4 yearsThis 0161 number keeps ringing me non stop, it’s really annoying! Every time I block one of their calls, they just switch up the last four digits and call from a new number. Proper pain to deal with!5 yearsI was hesitant to answer as it was a number I didn't recognise. However, when it rang a second time, curiosity got the better of me, so I finally picked up. To my bewilderment, the person on the other end didn’t utter a single word! I attempted to return the call, but the line seemed permanently engaged. How odd!5 yearsI accidentally picked up the call and a woman with a proper chavvy voice started flirting, asking my name. I told her some rubbish. Then she went on about her dad dying and working for a charity that helps people like him, saying I could sign up on social media for donations. Thing is, I don’t have any of those apps - no Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, nothing except WhatsApp. She was clearly making it up. Then she asked for my bank details and said she’d put me through to the “donations department,” which was obviously some bloke pretending to be her boss, probably her dodgy boyfriend chilling nearby. After the ‘transfer,’ another guy got on and asked for my info again - full name, email, the lot. I gave him a different fake name, fake address and email just for laughs. Then he wanted bank details, so I just made up numbers. He got super annoyed because the numbers kept “not going through.” Even after trying twice, he nearly lost it, sounded proper angry. I joked to myself he couldn’t get it up - obviously meaning the card details weren’t working - and his frustration was so bad I swear I heard a woman tell him to “last longer, Terry.” I was laughing so much at these muppets that he just cut the call. I really hope they stumble across this and take note - they’d do everyone a favour by disappearing for good.FacebookTikTokInstagramWhatsApp5 yearsI just let it ring since the number looked unfamiliar to me.5 yearsi get calls from this number quite a bit and it’s supposed to be a manchester one but i doubt it. it only ever rings my cell and never leaves any voicemail. interestingly, it always pops up as a scam with a bad rating. plenty of other people have reported it too, so i just decided to block it outright. honestly, if these scammers were halfway sensible, they’d check out this website and figure out why no one’s picking up their calls!Manchester5 yearsThey really should quit ringing me every single day, it's proper harassment.Stimes5 yearsToday I got a call on Viber about some sort of bonus thingy. I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. Then they tried ringing me on WhatsApp, but I didn’t pick up.ViberWhatsApp5 yearsThey called me about life insurance or something similar, kept saying I had spoken to them before which is total rubbish. I didn’t answer, just blocked the number. Seriously, when are these annoying calls gonna end? And what’s the point of the so-called authorities if they don’t do anything to put a stop to this crap!5 yearsThey keep ringing me loads, usually for ages. I picked up a couple of times but all I got was a click before they just cut off. Quite annoying really.5 yearsI got a call today that I never asked for and definitely didn’t want. Feels like harassment to me. If you’re legit, just stop bothering me, but if you’re running some sort of scam, maybe try finding a proper job instead.5 yearsI've had loads of missed calls from this number but when I pick up, there's nothing there - just silence.5 yearsThey ring every day but I have no clue who it is, so I just ignore the calls.5 yearsSince it never made it through my call blocker, I reckon it was one of those automated calls. I’m signed up on the TPS, so there’s no way it came from a legit firm.5 yearsthis number keeps ringin me up a couple times daily. I usually dodge calls from unknown numbers unless they keep ringing non-stop for like 12 or 14 rings, cos that’s when their phone stops callin. if it goes on past that, i figure it might be somethin important and give it a shot. but this one’s annoyin me too much, so i’ll be blocking it soon enough.5 yearsThis number rang my phone for the third time so I picked up. Some young guy said he was from Best Comparison and was checking in about a chat I supposedly had with someone from their team earlier this year about life insurance. I firmly told him I never had that talk and this was just a scam call, so to stop ringing me and delete my number from their records. As I was about to hang up, I caught him saying sorry for the inconvenience. I reckon I'll just block this number now on my phone.5 yearsOn the 13th of October 2021, I got a call just before eleven in the morning, around 10:51. I answered and for a few seconds there was nothing but quiet, then suddenly this steady beep started. Could this be some kind of automated dialling machine?5 yearsGot a call at 1:30pm, it rang about six times and then just cut off. From what I’ve looked up, sounds like a sales call. I’m going to block the number.5 yearsComplete rubbish. Just block them and carry on with your day.5 yearsThe number was unfamiliar so I decided to ignore it.
