I’ve had no clue who’s been ringing me from this Manchester number, but it’s the second time today! Had about 10 calls from similar numbers last week too. I block the caller and also report it to 7726 but still, the calls don’t stop. It’s really getting on my nerves. Whoever rents out these lines really needs to be held accountable. There ought to be a way for us to report this to the phone provider, and they should have some method to cut off numbers used for harrassment or scams. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like it should be that hard to sort out.

I got a call from a number with a Manchester 0161 code, but the person claimed it was the American embassy in London. Sounds like a scam to me, maybe they were spoofing the number.
