Got a call from someone called Harry claiming I’d won 10 lottery lucky dip tickets or something like that. Sounded a bit dodgy to me. I rang the number he gave back, and he picked up, but honestly, I’m not holding my breath on actually getting those tickets. Didn’t give me any proper info either... 🎉😂

This bloke claimed he was Jake Sullivan from the National Lottery, telling me I'd bagged free tickets for the Lotto and Euromillions back in March, April, and May 21. He even tossed me a London number, 020 383 0477, to call if I won. I decided to humour him, letting him go on and on until he got a bit agitated. Just as he was about to ask for my bank details to set up some kind of direct debit, I stopped him right there. Nice try, but I’m no fool.

i got a call from a lady claiming she was ringing about a lottery. she started asking if i usually play lotteries and if i wanted to join their new game starting in march 2021. i told her to send me the info first 'cos i never give out personal stuff over the phone. she said they don’t ask for that kinda info, but then out of nowhere said if i'm interested i need to register straight away and she asked for my bank details! i just cut the call there and then, didn't want to risk anything.

Somebody rang me saying they were from a lottery and said I’d won free tickets, then went on about some new draw supposedly happening in March. They even had my previous address from over three years ago, which was a bit strange. When I mentioned it sounded dodgy, they let out a nervous chuckle but insisted it wasn’t a scam. I told them I never give out my bank info on the phone and just hung up. Definitely seems like a scam, so I've blocked the number now.
