got a call from someone with a pretty strong asian accent, really hard to make out what they were saying. kept talking about some unsecured stuff, felt a bit dodgy, kinda like a scam to me.

Got a call from a bloke who called himself Jonathan, but his accent was so thick, I barely caught what he was saying. He claimed he was ringing from the government, something like gov.uk, and said he had some 'helpful advice' about sorting out some unpaid debts. Seemed dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone talking with a very strong accent, maybe African. She heard me and even said my name, but then suddenly said something like “my god, I can’t hear her,” or at least that’s what it sounded like. Then she got quiet for a bit and just hung up. Pretty weird.

I picked up the phone and could hear a lot of noise, like people talking in the background, probably from one of those call centres. I kept saying “hello” a few times, but no one replied, so I just ended the call. If it’s really important and they need to get hold of me, I guess they’ll ring again.

I didn’t pick up cos no one I know calls without telling me first. They didn’t leave any message either, so I’m pretty sure it’s just another dodgy scam call. If it was something urgent, they’d have dropped a voicemail or given it another go.

this number rings me like twice every week, honestly so annoying. I’ve finally put it on my block list. always from manchester area, they claim they can sort out my debts or something, which is totally rubbish as i dont owe anything.

She completely mixed up my name and then wanted me to verify my address and name. I refused and she started firing off questions. The lady didn't really speak much English, got annoyed when I kept asking, "Can you tell me where you’re calling from?" and then she just ended the call! I tried ringing back but the number was just dead.
