Totally agree, the starter was amazing - just one thing, they took ages to bring the menus but that was the only downside. The risotto was incredible, definitely pair it with a decent white wine (forget the house stuff if you’re going out, splash out a little). My missus really enjoyed hers, though she wished there were fewer courgettes in her veggie lasagne (just her taste). Overall, I’d say the night was a solid 9/10 - only thing that knocked it down was the bizarre moment when the chef hit on me in the loo, otherwise a brilliant night.

Me and my teen keep getting calls from this same number loads of times a day. We just ignore it now and have blocked it. Big thanks to everyone who’s shared their experiences here, really useful stuff x

I picked up a call from 01615188947 because I was waiting for a different person to phone me. The bloke on the other end knew my name and claimed I’d put in an application for a loan, which I definitely hadn’t. I told him straight up, but he insisted I had and said they had my information. When I asked what info, he could only mention my phone number. I just cut to it and said “you want my bank details so you can scam me,” he just laughed and ended the call. Enough said really.

They told me I was turned down for a loan and offered to help sort it out. I told them I never even applied for a loan, then they asked if I’d checked my credit score recently, which I hadn’t. They suggested someone else might’ve checked it and could be trying to steal my identity. After that, they kept going on about some debt I owed, which confused me as I don’t have any. Definitely sounds like a scam to me. Just block the number and don’t worry about it.

I didn’t pick up when this number rang, but later discovered it was linked to loans. I've now added them to my block list. Sadly, the former holder of my mobile number seems to have left behind quite a bit of debt with various loan firms. It’s been quite the bothersome task having to block multiple numbers since getting my new phone and number. And on top of that, there are all these scams floating around. What a hassle!

Cant believe these lot phoned up again sayin i've been denied a fiance visa or summat. I told em in proper old-fashioned English to stop botherin me at this number. Honestly, why does no one crack down on these scammers? I said I'd report em but they found it funny and just blocked my call. Unreal.

This is the third time I’ve gotten calls from Manchester, always a new number and nobody picks up when you ask what it’s about. I block the number, then they just ring from somewhere else next time.

got a call out of the blue, they claimed they could fix loan requests that got turned down, COMPLETE TIME WASTERS i’m not interested, didnt even apply for any loan in the first place. blocked em straight away.

I’ve told them countless times to take my number off their list but I’m still getting like two or maybe even nine calls every month from these lot. They’re tryna help me clear some debts or something but the only thing I owe is a student loan to the SLC… really not happy about them constantly ringing me.

Be careful, they say they’re an IVA provider but refuse to share any company address, FSA registration, or Companies House details. Just annoying idiots who keep harassing you.

They ring me loads each day, like 30 to 40 times a week, always trying to get me to join them for clearing debts or something. The people on the phone speak with an Indian accent which makes me kinda uneasy, especially since the government has put out warnings about scams lately. I received a rather unsettling phone call from 01615188947. The caller not only knew my name but also mentioned some loan application that had apparently been rejected. I was taken aback, as I've never even applied for a loan, hence there's been no application to turn down. When I pressed him for the source of this dubious information, I informed him that he was holding inaccurate data about me and requested to see a copy of it. Just like that, the call ended abruptly! Quite suspicious, wouldn't you say?

i rung back and its some company called thinksmart. they kept going on about a loan, sounded fishy and like they were indian or something. just another load of rubbish really.
