I received a call from 0161 513 7446 around 12:15 this afternoon, 17th July 2020. It was an automated message from a woman claiming to be from HMRC, which sounded like a scam.

On the 17th of July, 2020, I encountered a situation similar to what's been described here. I received a dubious call from the number 01615137446, claiming to be HMRC. They were quite menacing, throwing around threats of legal action against anyone they contacted. It felt very much like a scam!

Just received a call on my mobile about half an hour ago from 01615137446, supposedly just a missed call from HMRC. They were claiming that if I didn’t return the call, I’d be facing some serious consequences. Naturally, I called back out of curiosity, only to be greeted by an automated voice that sounded distinctly American. I've since blocked the number on my phone—better safe than sorry!

I’ve just had a dodgy phone call from this number. They mentioned HMRC and suggested I might face arrest over unpaid taxes. Whatever you do, don’t ring them back! Best to block the number entirely. I'm based in Edinburgh, just to let you know.

Today, I received a rather peculiar automated message allegedly from the HMRC, instructing me to ring a direct number. Instinctively, I suspected it was a scam, but I nearly choked on my cuppa when the voicemail concluded with a rather dramatic warning: 'Should we not hear from you or your legal representative, prepare yourself for legal repercussions.' Ha! I’ve promptly blocked them!

Received a couple of calls from this number earlier today. The first voicemail got interrupted, but the second one nearly made me choke on my cuppa with that threat at the end! Total scam, without a doubt. I had already blocked this number by this morning and promptly got rid of the voicemail.

Just received a message supposedly from HMRC warning me that I'd be in serious hot water if I don't get back to them. Sounds a bit dodgy to me! Perhaps they’ll hit me with a reverse charge when I ring them up. Total SPAM!
