They already knew my bank and sort code but wanted the full 8 digit number to confirm I was the right person. I declined, but they kept pressuring me saying they couldn’t lower the price without getting that number. Quite persistent they were!

For the past couple of months, this number has been ringing my elderly mum constantly, saying they're from some tv insurance company. I've told them to cut it out loads of times, even had to be quite harsh and use some swear words a time or two. Still, they won’t quit - calling two or three times daily, without fail. It's really annoying!

My elderly mum has been constantly hassled by these lot, claiming she’s taken out some TV insurance and owes cash. I rang them once, only gave her number and not her name because I didn’t want to share any more details than necessary. The woman on the other end got quite snappy and said, “Fine, we’ll just keep calling her then. Bye!” and then hung up on me. So frustrating.

I got a call from a guy claiming to be from some insurance firm called TVC, saying he was offering a TV insurance plan I'd supposedly asked for. Problem is, my telly is old as dirt and I never signed up for any TV cover. What freaked me out was that the bloke, sounded like he was speaking with an Indian accent, knew both my name and my home address. Plus, my number's meant to be ex-directory and my call blocker, which normally catches dodgy calls no bother, didn't stop him or even warn me. Definitely steer clear of this one!

I got a call from a bloke named Glen, I think I've seen this number before so I just blocked it because it was one of those unwanted calls. From reading the other comments, sounds like this could be quite dodgy. I really don't get why BT don't crack down on these calls after loads of people complain about them.

My mum, who suffers from dementia, just got a ring from this number. The caller claimed they were from some TV insurance company and asked for her bank details. It's awful how they’re preying on vulnerable folks like her! Truly terrible behaviour.

ive had a few calls from this number today [21/12/2020], around five times or so. they keep talking about a tv insurance that I’ve never signed up for. they said they wanna verify some details they hold on me, like bank info and stuff. definitely dont share any of your info with them. feels like harassment to me and could lead to trouble. calls seem to be coming from somewhere near Nottingham.
