I received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the FCA, and they said they’d gotten back some of my money from a previous purchase. They even suggested refunding me in Bitcoins! It sounds quite elaborate, doesn’t it? Just be cautious, as this is likely a scam! Don’t get taken in by it!

Received a call from someone named Liam Brown, who seemed to be of Chinese descent. He was prattling on about some dodgy finance issue and kept mentioning the term Blockchain. Purely a scam, if you ask me!

I received a rather dodgy phone call today; a bloke on the other end claimed to be from the FCA. He was jabbering about having recovered funds from an online purchase I’d made - apparently, I could get it back in Bitcoin! I politely declined his offer and ended the call. The guy had a Spanish accent, and I could hear what sounded like a hectic call centre behind him. Just a heads up to everyone; stay vigilant!
