I received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the FCA, and they said they’d gotten back some of my money from a previous purchase. They even suggested refunding me in Bitcoins! It sounds quite elaborate, doesn’t it? Just be cautious, as this is likely a scam! Don’t get taken in by it!

Got a call from someone named Liam Brown, sounded like he wasn’t from round here, maybe Chinese. He was chatting about some dodgy finance deal and kept throwing around the word ‘Blockchain’. Total scam, watch out!

Got a call from a bloke claiming he’s with the FCA, saying he found some money I lost dealing with an online firm I’d reported. He kept saying he’d refund me in bitcoins or something. I just said cheers but no cheers and put the phone down. Sounded like he had a thick Spanish accent and you could hear a lot of noise like a call centre going on behind him. Watch out for stuff like this.
