I’m inundated with constant calls from various numbers; it’s becoming rather tiresome trying to block each one as they come in.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from a lending firm, and they were attempting to swindle £700 out of me.

I've ended up entangled with what I thought was a straightforward loan service, but it turned out to be a right con. They’ve taken me for over £700, which is beyond infuriating. I've had to report them to Action Fraud, the police, and even the fraud squad at my bank. Honestly, steer clear of these charlatans! It all began with a seemingly innocuous £50 insurance policy; now that I'm requesting my money back, they’re claiming that insurance doesn’t even cover my loss. To top it off, they’ve got an 0800 number and keep pointing me to a website based in the States, while their sort code suggests they’re based in Manchester. It's all very dodgy indeed!
