So, I decided to turn the tables, raised my voice a bit and insisted he take me off their list. He flatly refused! I mentioned the GDPR regulations he was contravening, which only seemed to irritate him. He kept interrupting me, insisting "let me speak," and at one point blurted out, "I'M GOING TO TALK NOW," clearly thinking he had all the authority. At one juncture, he mentioned something about "we understand you've had a few falls," and that's when I knew, without a doubt, that this was dodgy business. I shot back that it was clearly a scam, and he retorted, asking if I thought they were after my money.
