Got a call from this number saying they were from HMRC, but it seemed a bit dodgy so I just ended the call.

Got a bloke on the phone who claimed to have my name. Said he was "from the Energy Advisory Service in Oxfordshire." He gave his name as Matthew and said "It’s been ages since your loft insulation was done, you need a top-up." I asked if he was funded by the government, and he said yes. Then I asked if he checks with family members about these decisions, and he said yes, then suddenly he just cut the call!!! Watch out for this one!!!

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be reviewing my insurance policy. The trouble was, they didn’t even get my name right! When I informed them that I had just gone over my policy, they seemed dismissive and pressed on with their questions. I pointed out that if they were genuinely reviewing my policy, they ought to have that information at hand. Rather cheekily, they called me rude for questioning them and promptly hung up once I suggested they ring back when they had their details sorted. Quite the experience, I must say!

I received a voicemail from some bloke who clearly wasn’t aware he’d been routed to voicemail. He was chatting away about flights and, from what I could gather, the ticket prices were around £1038. Quite a hefty sum, if you ask me!
