Got a call about sortin an Alert Badge for my Mum, since she’s elderly. They asked for her info real quick, which made her suspicious, and then they just hung up. Definite scam, I reckon.

Can't say I trust this number at all. I've had three calls in just a couple of days, and the person on the other end sounded really abrupt. When I told them I wasn't interested, they just cut me off mid-sentence. Figured it was some dodgy sales call given the persistence. Then, to my surprise, they rang back once more after that! I've gone ahead and blocked them now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be ‘check your details’. Told them I wasn’t interested, but when I asked them to take my info off their list, they got rude and hung up on me before I finished talking.

I'm convinced this is a scam. They've rang me three times in just two days. They were really rude and cut me off when I told them I wasn't interested and would sort things out with my own provider. They called again today trying the same trick - absolutely pointless. I've blocked the number now. I feel sorry for elderly people who might fall for this, it's disgusting how pushy they are. I don't usually leave comments, but doing this during a pandemic is just sickening.

Got a cold call about life insurance out of the blue. They seemed to have bits of my personal info too, which really worries me. Surely that’s against GDPR rules, using private data without permission? I’ve reported it to the ICO now.

Got a cold caller who said they were from “compare my policy” and said they were linked to Royal London life insurance. They kept pushing even after I said no thanks. Just the usual sales script. When I asked them to stop calling, they got rude and snappy. Definitely a scam, so stay clear.

Got a call from 01615050531 at 11:08 on 10/05/2020, they said they were from Aviva about my life insurance. They asked for my name, then wanted to know if I knew my monthly payments and how long the policy lasts. I only said yes to the name part, then the woman said she'd give me chance to check my details. I told her there’s loads of scams going about right now and I’m not discussing money stuff over the phone. I tried calling Aviva myself later but just got their voicemail saying no one is working because of covid 19.

This afternoon, I answered my home phone to a bloke speaking with a strong Scottish accent. He asked straight away for me by name. I told him I wasn’t interested in what he was trying to sell, and he instantly got really angry, startin' to speak quite harshly to me. We ended up arguing for a bit before I just cut the call. I’m pretty sure he was trying to scam me or something like that.
