Some bloke ringing me up asking about my car rego, but the only car I’ve got is an electric one my kid uses. Asked for me by my maiden name as well, which is odd. Adding that number straight to my blocklist, it’s getting longer than my actual phonebook these days!

So they called me, knowing I've been in a car crash, and wanted me to verify stuff about it. But when I asked them to tell me what info they already had, they just hung up on me!

I rarely pick up calls from numbers I dont recognise but this time it was from my home area so I figured it might be important. A lady was on the line asking if I’d had any accidents within the last couple of years. When I asked her which firm she was with (the call quality was awful and I could hardly make out what she was saying) she just disconnected. I tried calling back just to check but the number was no longer working. Honestly, best to ignore calls like this and block them straight away.
