They said they were getting back to me about a Government grant for the loft insulation. I told them I don’t even have a loft to insulate and asked when this was meant to have taken place. They just ended the call straight away.

I didnt pick up, seemed like a Manchester dial code which I have noone there. Tried to block it but it said the number wasnt valid. Had another go a bit later and got the same result. Best to just give this one a miss, might be dodgy!

Over the past weeks, ive been getting loads of calls from this number and others nearby, like in the Manchester region. I usually dont pick up unknown or blocked numbers but its really frustrating. Hope they do something to stop these annoying calls soon.

Got a ring on my mobile today but didn’t pick up cos I get these scam calls all the time. They always use a slightly different number so I just keep blocking them whenever they ring. I reckon they’re ambulance chasers, trying to scam people about fake car crashes. One time, one of them didn’t realise they were still on the call and left a voicemail where I heard him chatting to someone about "needing a few more to earn commission". Would be great if there was a way to just stop these calls for good!
