They kept ringing for like five minutes straight, I never even answered.

0161 504 8007 rang me yesterday. A bloke wanted to talk to my husband but said he’d ring back this morning. Today I got a voicemail telling me to ring that number or else tell my solicitor. They warned me not to ignore HMRC or there’d be legal action. Yeah right, bring it on! Definitely a scam, the message was recorded and the line was awful. I’m reporting it now as a police phishing attempt, and you lot should do the same.

This number, 01615048007, keeps ringing me up nonstop claiming to be from HMRC. They say I owe money and need to pay. I just ignore those calls because it's obviously a scam. Don’t fall for it and never send them any cash! I’ve already told HMRC about it.

Lisa Murray Degisi is a total con artist, running this scheme plus another one involving PayPal. Ive never heard she’s done a real job ever. Loads of flashy cars and a massive house she shows off all the time. Just check her out on Facebook if you want. Her husband apparently fronts a car sales business in Whitefield that’s really just for laundering cash.

Just like everyone else, I got a couple of voicemail messages saying me or my solicitor needs to get in touch with HMRC straight away or else there’ll be "consequences". Seriously, I can't imagine HMRC would ever leave a message sounding like that.

My mum got a really scary call today. The caller was saying they were going to send someone to our place and arrest us in just sixteen minutes! It made her quite shaken up. The only reason they finally hung up was because I told them I’d looked the number up on Google.

So I got a call the other day and this robotic voice started shouting at me to pay up immediately or I’d be thrown in jail. My mum got a call from these people claiming she owed nearly £2800 for tax fraud going back to 1990. They told her she’d get arrested if she didn’t pay right away and wouldn't let her speak to anyone else. Since she didn’t have the cash, they just ended the call. She’s really upset about the whole thing now.

I got a call on my mobile from a number I didn’t know so I didn’t pick up. Later, I got a text that was a bit confusing at first, but then it basically said not to ignore the call or lawyers would get involved. The way the message was written didn’t seem right at all, not how anyone would usually speak. So I looked it up and it turns out it’s another scam. Just a heads up, watch out for this one.

He said he was calling from London and started going on about me having unpaid taxes and some dodgy claim against me. Then he said I needed to get a solicitor. Told him to send it all in writing first!
