Just signed up with O2, and I can say without a doubt this was a total scam. I didn’t even get to say a word before they started shouting at me over the phone. Honestly, anyone who goes around harassing folks like that deserves to burn somewhere miserable.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, which was a bit worrying since they actually mentioned the exact amount I pay for my O2 plan. But when I asked more, they admitted they weren’t really from O2 at all. What annoyed me was they didn’t even properly end the call - I can still hear noises from their call centre in the background as I’m writing this. What a mess.

Just got a dodgy call from someone saying they were from 'Smart Mobile'. They told me my mobile contract was ending and tried to sell me a new deal for half the cost. They even said they were working for my phone company, which for me is Carphone Warehouse. Don't bother talking to them, just hang up straight away and be sharp about it. They’re fishing for your bank info, so watch out!

If this number rings you, don't bother ringing back. Calling back will charge you a lot extra, and they get a share of that. It's a total rip-off. Also, if you did pick up their call, don’t call out straight away afterwards, cos that’s part of the scam too - they jack up the price on your outgoing call and take a cut from that as well. Better to wait around 5 to 10 minutes before making any calls.

Honestly, I've told them so many times to quit phoning me about my 02 contract. I've said I'm not bothered, but they keep ringing every single day. I'm about done with it and gonna block their number soon.
