Got a call from this number, they knew loads about my old PPI claims and promised I might be entitled to more money. Since I never used a claims firm before, I asked them how they obtained my info and what data they had on me, mentioning GDPR. They just cut off the call when I challenged them.

They rang my landline and the second I picked up, they just hung up. Annoyed, I rang them back and firmly told them to remove my landline number. The operator actually had the nerve to say, "We only have your mobile number here," but I’m scratching my head thinking, how did they get my mobile if I’ve never had a call from them? I gave them both my landline and mobile numbers and insisted they delete them. The operator promised I wouldn’t get any more calls. Well, I’m not holding my breath - if they call again, there’ll be trouble for sure!
