Over the past few months, I've been getting loads of calls from strange numbers on my phone. I think this started after I got scammed trying to buy some cryptocurrency. Thankfully, I managed to get my money back, but somehow my number must have been shared with dodgy people who then passed it around to other scammers. I'd had my current number for nearly three years and never had anything like this happen before that scam. Usually, the calls are just missed calls and they never leave a message.
