I received a call from someone overseas trying to sell central heating boilers, which came from a Manchester BT number. I've reported this to the Telephone Preference Service and made it clear to them that we would be taking action against such nuisance calls.

Just like Leonard mentioned earlier, as soon as I picked up the call, they hung up! TPS really isn't doing its job, is it?

Absolutely not. They’ve rung me twice, but before I could even get to the phone, the call cut off. I didn’t even get a chance to answer!
