I found it quite suspect, especially as they didn’t even bother to confirm if I was the account holder. They were on about providing a 'free' new router, making it sound like it was no bother at all - definitely felt dodgy. Once I mentioned I was a techie and could easily check my router's performance myself, the caller went completely quiet. I told her I had no issues and then the line went dead.
