I received a call today, on the 3rd of November, 2020, around half-past eleven in the morning. An Asian lady was on the line, and there was a fair bit of commotion in the background. She inquired whether I was the individual she was looking for, to which I replied that I was not. Her response was astonishing; she exclaimed, "You’re a bloody beggar!" followed by "Just go away!" I find this completely outrageous and utterly uncalled for. Why do we tolerate such disrespectful behaviour over the phone? What’s the point of having GDPR if it does nothing to protect us from this kind of rudeness?

Just like others have mentioned before, I've been hit with an unexpected charge of £600. The call had a really mechanical tone-definitely not a real person on the line!
