2 yearsGot a call that claimed to be from my bank about some suspicious transactions. They said they’d send me a cancellation code, but the message actually came from what looked like Amazon. Then they asked me for the code - definitely a scam, don’t share it. Even when I told them I knew it was a con, they kept pushing. The weird bit is the message from “Amazon” disappeared off my phone afterwards. The number showed as Manchester, but it was clearly a call centre abroad.
