I received an automated voice message purporting to be from my credit card provider, alerting me to two questionable transactions on my account for £300 and £1200. Definitely a banking scam, if you ask me!

I got a call today from someone claiming to be my credit card company. They said there were two payments taken from my card, one for £300 and another for £1230, both supposedly made today. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel the charges or 3 to talk to them. I hadn’t done any of those payments so I just hung up. They never asked for any other personal info, which makes me think it’s definitely a scam.

I've had a couple of calls lately saying there were two payments on my credit cards and I needed to get in touch with them. This has come up two times over the past few weeks and I'm pretty sure it's some kind of scam.
