I received a call today from a woman claiming there was an issue with my internet, stating she was from Openreach BT. She mentioned she’d guide me through the so-called problems. I questioned why my actual internet provider hadn’t reached out and if there was a fault, why they hadn’t just sent a new router instead. When I challenged her about her claims of being my provider and asked for the name of my real internet service, she abruptly hung up on me. Quite suspicious if you ask me!
