Got a call from someone claiming to be Mark Anthony, said he was with Legal & General in their London branch. But the weird part is the number showed up as a Manchester one. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

They've rung me about five times now. I usually block anyone not in my contacts, and my phone shows who it is if they’re on the blocked list. They’re really insistent. If you don’t have a way to block them, just give them a mouthful straight away - the quicker this nonsense ends, the better.

About half an hour back I got a call from this number, didn’t pick it up. Going to block it now.

Got a call from this number pretending to be from Sun Alliance. They lied about their identity just to try and get personal details. Honestly, it felt really dodgy and a bit frightening because they sounded so convincing. Definitely a scam, so make sure you report it. Don’t trust them!
