Some bloke with a funny accent called me and rattled on really quick - said his name was Robert and mentioned a firm called United UK. He told me he'd only need to ask a couple of questions and then I wouldn’t hear from him again. I asked him to say the company’s name again because I'd never heard of them before, and when I asked what they actually did, he just cut off the call. Didn’t even get a chance to answer any questions.

It appeared to be some sort of call centre; I could hardly make out what the person on the other end was saying because of all the racket in the background. I ended up hanging up!

Woke up to a call from an Asian woman this morning who was speaking so quickly I couldn’t catch a thing. I told her I had no clue what she was saying, sounded like she was in a rush to catch a train or something. She just ended the call right after. Definitely a spam call.

Some bloke called me claiming he was from Consumer UK, said his name was Sam. I told him before that I wanted my details taken off their list, but he started arguing with me about it. He kept pestering me, asking why I wouldn’t cooperate. When I asked to speak to his boss, he flat out refused. Noticed he was ringing from a Manchester number, so I told him I’d ring back, give his name, and report the call as harassment. Then he just hung up on me.
