Got a call saying I was getting a cheque in the post for PPI and some finance claim. They knew my full name and address, then asked for my DOB so I just gave ‘em 31st of September. Never heard anyone sound that chuffed, felt pretty dodgy so I reckon it was a scam.

I keep blocking loads of 0161 numbers, they all sound the same and never leave a message. This has been happening for months now. I never manage to pick up when they call so I can’t tell them what I really think. Usually they ring about 6pm.

ACCIDENT CLAIM He called about an accident from 8 years ago. I told him I wasn’t hurt but said we could just say I was and make a claim. He said that’s fraud but I told him only he’d know and I’d share the cash. He got really worked up, saying it’s illegal, but I kept saying he’d still get paid. Then he suddenly hung up - that was different, I usually end the call!

Got a call from Henry Goldstein one evening about some ppi nonsense. Told them I wasn’t bothered. Even so, they rang me twice the following morning before 9.30. So, I’ve blocked the number now!

So, I was told I’m due a refund and asked if they needed my bank info. The woman on the line suddenly got really nasty, telling me not to jump to conclusions. I just told her to sod off and hung up.

Keep getting calls from them, saying I’m due a PPI refund but they only have my old address. They’re pretty pushy. Sound like they’re calling from a noisy call centre in Manchester. They want me to confirm my DOB and name. Kept asking about a credit card provider I supposedly used ages ago, but I never had a credit card back then.
