Yesterday, I received an automated call concerning energy services, where they claimed that "no representative could attend to my(!) call". I've already put the number on my block list, yet bizarrely, my phone still permits them to ring through, even though it insists the number is blocked. I’ve picked up the following eight calls in just a day, hoping to express my frustration, only to be met with silence each time. With an elderly family member in hospital, it’s imperative that I respond whenever the phone chimes. Honestly, I wish these pesky nuisances would just vanish and leave us in peace.

This number has been ringing me 9 times in just three days. Luckily, my BT call guardian stopped the phone from ringing. I’ve decided to block it for good. Judging by the other comments, looks like these calls are from scammers who are annoying and possibly harmful.

For sure a dodgy energy scam. They keep ringing my landline like 3 or 4 times every day recently. I finally picked up today and the person claimed they were from an energy saving advice group. They wanted to know if I’d used all the government grants for insulating my loft. I told them it’s already sorted since we got a new roof fitted. They just hung up on me straight away without a word. I reckon a proper company would’ve at least said sorry for bothering me.

He didn’t even try to give a company name, just said “I understand you’re the homeowner.” I found that a bit funny and responded, “do you now?” and he just hung up on me. I've been inundated with calls from what they label as "energy advisors." In just the past three days, I’ve received about ten calls, including four from different numbers in a single day! Whenever I question them about their company name or request to speak to a supervisor, they promptly hang up. They claim they're not trying to sell anything, just offering tips on how to manage my bills, but then they go on about finding me the cheapest energy provider if I hang on. Yeah, right! If you've got the option to block these nuisances, I’d strongly suggest you do it.
