Twice today they phoned me, once in the morning and then again later on. But every time I picked up, the call just got cut off. Proper annoying!

This number has popped up on my phone quite a few times recently. Most of the time it just goes straight to voicemail, and they never bother to leave a message. Earlier today it rang again, and I actually answered. A bloke with a Manchester accent said he was from some window company and asked how I was doing. When I asked him to say that again, he hung up right away. What creeped me out was that he actually knew my name.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with 'The Window Company', telling me I was eligible for some kind of funding to upgrade my windows. I didn’t bother listening and just hung up on them. Complete rubbish.

Got a ring from this number earlier today. I've got caller ID set up, so the call won't come through unless the person announces who they are first. As you'd expect, they just gave up and hung up straight away.

I’ve had a few calls lately from a lady with an American accent claiming to be from HMRC. She says I need to ring a certain number straight away or I’ll face legal trouble about Customs issues. It’s quite scary because her voice sounds really firm and intimidating. I can imagine this would freak out a lot of folks.
