I've had a rather disconcerting experience with a firm going by the name of UK Debt Expert, or sometimes Debt Advice Expert. They purport to be associated with StepChange Debt Charity, which is most definitely not the case. I've received relentless calls from two individuals - one named Jordan and the other Chantelle. It's become abundantly clear that these callers have no legitimate ties to StepChange whatsoever. Their activities seem highly questionable, as they're attempting to lure unsuspecting folks into taking out IVAs under false pretenses. Please, don’t be swayed by their dubious claims. The genuine StepChange would never engage in unsolicited calls or follow up after you have completed an online form. It's imperative that you safeguard your personal details. If you receive a call from them, kindly ask for their true origins, then promptly block their number and report the incident to Action Fraud. Stay vigilant!
