Got a call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. Foolishly, I admitted in a previous chat that I got my phone from them, so they’ve obviously made a note of it. Not much use to them though, cos if I want to upgrade I’ll just visit the store. The lady got really pushy when I said no to changing my tariff and just hung up. Be careful with these calls.

Got a call from someone pushing a domain name really hard - felt like I was being harassed and bullied just to get me to buy it. Proper annoying sales tactics.

Some bloke named Stephen rang me saying he was from Carphone Warehouse about renewing my phone contract. I told him I hadn’t a clue where he’d got my info from since I never did my contract through them, and that sounded like a breach of GDPR. He got quite cheeky and said I was daft for not upgrading with him and wasting my own cash. I told him to jog on and hung up, not the first time I’ve had that nonsense off him.

Got a weird call from a woman with an Indian accent who said her name was Kelly Smith - yeah, right, like I fell for that. She kept pushing me to join some lottery competition I never signed up for. At first, she seemed alright but as soon as I started asking stuff like where the company was located, what it was called, or if I could talk to a manager, she turned nasty, talking over me and even shouting?! Seriously, who are these people? They need to be shut down, ringing me literally every single day!

Refused to say who they were, claimed i'd joined some kind of contest which i never have. They got pretty pushy even after i kept telling them i was about to end the call. Eventually, i just hung up. Hate being rude but they just wouldn't accept a simple no.

These companies keep ringing me non stop. When I asked why, they said it's because I took part in a survey. I asked which survey, but she didn’t really say. Then she asked if I remembered mentioning a holiday I’ve been on. The question was if I had been away this year. I said yes, Spain. She said I finished the survey and that’s why they’re calling me.
