Got a call from someone about windows and possible grants, said they were with ‘the window people’ and linked to the eco group or something. They kept pushing to arrange a visit, proper faff to get rid of. Bit annoying, to be honest.

Had a call from someone about government grants for windows installed before 2012. I told them straight away I wasn't interested, but they kept pushing and wanted to know if my windows were installed before that year. I said yes, but also made it clear I wasn't rude, just not interested at all. Then out of nowhere, they just hung up on me - honestly, it felt like they were the rude ones!

Got a couple of quiet calls just around this time in the evening, and it's really irritating when you're trying to eat. Since I'm from Manchester, I assumed it might be someone familiar, so I answered. Tried to block the number but couldn't because the caller ID wasn't showing up, so it went unnoticed. When I checked 1471, yep, it was those annoying lot again!
