Got a missed call and a voicemail from this number. The message was robotic and kinda hard to understand. They mentioned something about lawyers and taking legal steps. Just blocked it.

I get calls multiple times daily from men and women claiming to be from Beneficial. They say they’ve got a few quick questions and promise to keep it brief, but I usually just let them ramble on. I’ve never had any business with Beneficial and don’t want to chat to them at all. The callers often have a foreign accent - maybe Asian.

Got a robocall claiming to be from HMRC, saying I needed to ring back straight away. When I did, some bloke with a thick Indian accent answered. I asked what the call was about, and he gave me a surname related to income tax. I asked what he wanted from me, and he suddenly started swearing, saying I’m changing my statement, then just ended the call. Proper dodgy.

As soon as I picked up, they hung up straight away again. They always ring me when I’m tied up with stuff and I have to pause everything. Total waste of time, as usual. Nowadays, I just answer and wait for them to start talking. If it’s a proper call, I tell them why I do it, and most people get it.

Got a ring earlier from BCS - Brazier Consulting Service on this number. They said I was owed some PPI, but I explained I'd already sorted it out with another firm. She kept going on saying I was entitled to more! I told them three times about GDPR laws and that I wanted my info deleted from their system. She just ignored me and kept waffling about the PPI they claimed I had. After getting really annoyed, I ended the call and blocked the number. Thinking about contacting the ICO to confirm my GDPR rights.

Typical PPI scammer. Funny thing is, he kept trying to convince me he wasn’t a scammer - gave me a whole spiel! I just put the phone down and went back to my book. The muppet jabbered away for like 3 minutes before finally hanging up 😂 At least that’s 3 minutes he wasn’t pestering someone else, and honestly I had a good chuckle!

The phone rang but I saw the number and didn’t pick up. They didn’t leave a voicemail either. Definitely a pestering caller.

It took ages before he said anything, then he said I was owed a refund. I told him I wasnt interested about four times and asked to be taken off their list straight away, but he just kept pushing. I mentioned GDPR and he said it didn’t matter, they can still call me. When I asked him to confirm I’d be removed, he just said have a nice day and hung up. Typical.
