When I inquired about my previous card number, they claimed it was masked for security. I decided not to go ahead with it. I then rummaged through my paperwork and found the original receipt for the washing machine, showing a purchase date of July 2010. It seemed peculiar to me that I would have chosen to renew the extended warranty in September.
